Pam Little will discuss the recent TEKS review of the State Board ff Education and other education issues facing the state. Pam is currently Vice Chair of the SBOE, and District 12 Member, representing Bowie, Collin, Cooke, Delta, Fannin, Grayson, Hopkins, Hunt, Lamar, and Red River counties, and parts of Dallas and Denton counties.

In addition to being a mother of two children, she helped her husband, Larry, start a successful business from their garage, was a college instructor, an executive for an educational publisher, and served on the Fairview Town Council.

Pam and Larry live in Fairview with their children and four grandchildren nearby in the McKinney area.

To prepare the way for our celebration of the Nation’s 250^th Birthday on June 15, Elijah O’Neal, Director of Education for the American Journey Experience Museum, will bring some of the museum’s artifacts for Members and Guests to see during Check-in.  Also, Elijah will bring to life the history of the Declaration of Independence and our founding in his program presentation.

Elijah is a seasoned public speaker with a background in American history and constitutional jurisprudence.  He has been a featured speaker at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest.  He is a featured speaker on a 50-state national circuit tour with the U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon, has appeared on stage with multiple state governors, and serves as an on-call contributor with history driven productions for Glenn Beck’s The Blaze Network. He travels the country helping audiences rediscover the truth of their heritage through original artifacts, powerful storytelling, and educational engagement.
